Collection of regulogs for NagQ transcription factor

General statistics
Genomes 93
TF regulogs 10
TF regulons 31
TF binding sites 81

Transcription factor NagQ from the GntR protein family regulates the chitin and N-acetylglucosamine utilization genes in various Proteobacteria. The NagQ regulons and its DNA-binding motifs were discovered by application of the comparative genomic approach [16857666]. NagQ is a non-orthologous replacement for other regulators of chitin utilization, NagC (ROK family) and NagR (LacI family), that control the chitin utilization genes in other taxonomic groups of Proteobacteria [16857666].
