NadQ is a transcriptional regulator of NAD metabolism in Proteobacteria that was predicted by comparative genomics approaches. NadQ proteins constitute a unique family (COG4111) including a characteristic N-terminal Nudix hydrolase-like domain (SSF55811) and a C-terminal winged HTH DNA binding domain (SSF46785).
