Collection of regulogs for SorC transcription factor family

General statistics
TF regulogs 9
TF regulons 48
TF binding sites 69

SorC family of transcription factors comprises regulators (activators and repressors) that control various carbohydrate metabolic pathways including sorbose utilization (SorC) [2277638], the central glycolytic genes (CggR) [20462860], sugar polyol (erythritol, arabitol, adonitol and arabitol) catabolism [20671019]. Members of the SorC family respond to various effector molecules including fructose-1,6-bisphosphate, dihydroxyacetone phosphate, glucose-6-phosphate and fructose-6-phosphate [18554327], deoxyribose-5-phosphate [10074062]. SorC-family regulators (COG2390) are composed of an N-terminal DNA binding domain (SSF46785) and a C-terminal sugar binding domain (PF04198).
